Installation Windows Truetype fonts come in one part - it is one ttf-file. No additional software is needed to use truetype. Open your fonts folder and select "install new font" from the file menu. MAC OSX PostScript Type1 fonts are used for printing and for screen display. Put the fonts in the fonts folder inside your library folder. MAC OS Classic 9.2.2 and earlier PostScript Type1 fonts are used for printing and for screen display with the Adobe Type Manager (ATM). To install this type of fonts, select and drag both the postscript and screen font directly onto your system folder. In order to use the postscript fonts you must also install the corresponding screen fonts. If you are using a font management software then follow the instructions given by it. |
